ARE YOU A GATEKEEPER?
Hmmm..... Maybe you are part of the problem....
Let's ask ourselves this.
If a DOCTOR needs to go to a SCHOOL to properly perform on the human body..............
If a DENTIST needs to go to a SCHOOL to properly perform on the human body..............
OR Should a TATTOO ARTIST learn from random person (possibly like yourself) who has no legal rights to "teach" someone properly perform on the human body..............
Do you think any of the following thoughts?
- A "traditional apprenticeship" is the only way to learn to tattoo?
- Tattoo schools are ruining the tattoo industry!
- Do you think that people should "earn their apprenticeship" like you did?
- Do you hate seeing bad tattoos but also hate artist having access to information to learn to tattoo properly?
If you think any of those YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM!
You people rather people just pick up machines off of amazon and go to YouTube rather than them have access to proper information & training.
You People want to complain about people doing bad tattoos but don't want people to have access to proper education.
You People complain but don't provide a solution to the issue.
Maybe if You People would worry about proper education system and not an oversaturated market maybe things would be better?.
Hopefully You people wake up and stop complaining...................
Oh wait! What about these things?
Health and Safety: Tattooing involves breaking the skin, which can introduce bacteria and other pathogens if not done in a sterile environment. Regulations ensure that proper hygiene practices are followed, such as the use of sterilized equipment and clean facilities, to prevent infections, diseases like Hepatitis B and C, and other health risks.
Professional Standards: Regulations establish minimum standards for training, ensuring that tattoo artists are skilled and knowledgeable about anatomy, infection control, and safe tattooing practices. This protects clients from poorly trained or inexperienced artists.
Consumer Protection: Licensing and regulation help protect consumers from substandard or unsafe tattooing practices. Regulations ensure that tattoo artists meet specific standards, reducing the likelihood of botched work or unsafe procedures.
Legal and Ethical Compliance: Tattooing involves permanent alterations to a person's body, so regulations help ensure ethical practices, such as obtaining proper consent, checking for legal age, and ensuring that no tattoos are done under coercion.
Tattoo Aftercare and Education: Regulated tattoo artists are often required to educate clients on proper aftercare to ensure the tattoo heals properly and avoids complications like infection or scarring.
