Tattoo education in the United States is regulated at the state and local level. There is currently no national or federal accreditation specifically designated for tattoo schools.
Licensing and oversight are determined by individual states, counties, and health departments. Because of this, requirements vary depending on the jurisdiction in which instruction takes place.
School of Ink & Arts operates in full compliance with applicable business registration, zoning, and health regulations at each filming and instructional location.

School of Ink & Arts LLC is registered in the State of Arkansas as a Limited Liability Company in good standing.
Location-Based Compliance
All in-person filming, demonstrations, and practical instruction are conducted at licensed tattoo studios and health-department-approved facilities.
Each hosting studio is responsible for maintaining:
• Active tattoo establishment licensing
• Local health department approval
• Required sanitation standards
• Bloodborne pathogen compliance
Because filming and instruction occur at licensed host studios, zoning and facility compliance fall under the jurisdiction of those locations.

School of Ink & Arts plans to establish a dedicated filming and education facility in the future. Once secured, details regarding zoning and facility approvals will be updated here.
