Recording a good module is like doing a good tattoo. You can't rush the process!

Preproduction (Scripting the Classes): The preproduction stage is crucial for planning and organizing the content of the online module. The main goal is to create a well-structured and engaging script that will be used during the recording process.

      1. Content Outline: Develop a comprehensive outline of the module, including topics to be covered and the overall flow of information. This includes reviewing questions that have been submitted also.***

      2. Script Writing: Write a detailed script based on the outline. The script should include key points, examples, and any visual elements or demonstrations that will be part of the module.

      3. Storyboarding: Plan visuals, animations, or slides that will accompany the content. This helps in creating a visual representation of how the information will be presented.

      4. Technical Planning: Determine the technical requirements for recording, including the choice of recording software or equipment, ensuring good audio quality, and preparing any necessary visuals.

Production Days (Days of Recording): The production stage involves the actual recording of the online module, bringing the scripted content to life. It's essential to capture high-quality audio and video while ensuring a smooth and engaging presentation.

      1. Setting up Equipment: Prepare and set up recording equipment, ensuring proper lighting, sound quality, and a clutter-free background.

      2. Recording Sessions: Follow the script and record the module in manageable segments. Take breaks as needed to maintain energy and clarity in the delivery.

      3. Visual Elements: Integrate visuals, slides, or demonstrations according to the storyboard. Ensure that they align with the spoken content for a cohesive learning experience.

      4. Review and Retakes: Review recorded segments for quality and coherence. If necessary, re-record sections that need improvement or clarification.

Post Production (Editing): The post-production stage focuses on refining and enhancing the recorded material to create a polished and professional online module.Ā 

    1. Editing Content: Trim unnecessary segments, correct any errors, and ensure a smooth transition between different sections of the module.

    2. Enhancing Visuals: Improve the quality of visuals, animations, and slides. Add any additional graphics or effects that enhance understanding.

    3. Audio Enhancement: Fine-tune audio levels, remove background noise, and ensure clear and crisp sound throughout the module.

    4. Adding Elements: Integrate any additional elements, such as intro/outro animations, subtitles, or interactive features.

    5. Quality Control: Review the entire module to ensure consistency, accuracy, and a professional look and feel.

    6. Exporting and Publishing: Once satisfied with the edited content, export the module in the desired format and publish it on the chosen platform for students to access.
